Gibraltar’s G-1600 series safety bollards have been tested and crash certified by an independent, third-party crash test laboratory. Currently, we offer bollards certified to ASTM F-3016-19 S30 P1 crash requirements and engineered from data extrapolation for lighter S20 and S10 ratings. Our certified bollards guarantee perimeter security no matter which type of bollard is required; whether you require a fixed, removable, or powered retractable model we have a bollard solution to meet your need.

Fixed and Removable Shallow-Mount Bollards

The G1631-F bollard is Gibraltar’s fixed, shallow-mount bollard solution ideal for buildings with existing underground utilities. G1631-F bollards require foundations only eight inches in depth and can be installed directly into existing sidewalks, concrete slabs, and more. In addition, this bollard requires no metal rebar cage, making installation efficient and quick.

Gibraltar’s G-1631R removable safety bollard requires a foundation only 8.5 inches in depth and can be installed directly into a pre-existing concrete slab or sidewalk. These removable bollards do not require rebar for installation and are thus ideal for applications with underground utilities to navigate. Just like our fixed G-1631F bollards, these removable bollards have passed S30 P1 level specifications.

Aside from maintaining or exceeding industry-standard perimeter protection with bollards crash-tested to ASTM F-3016-19 S30 P1 requirements, our G-1600 series bollards are completely customizable as well. Whether you choose a fixed, removable, or deployable bollard or a shallow or standard mount, our bollards can be finished to your specifications. Choose from powder-coat, shop-coat, or hot-dip galvanized to ASTM A123 standards. You can also select a decorative or protective sleeve to change the look or protect your bollards from the elements.
